Instructional Demonstration
By Kim Strickland, Green Terrace Activities Director

Wrap-up
Everybody has a great time and are excited about their next project.
They are planning to add pictures on their bars of purified glycerin soap and sell them on eBay(which will be another learning experiece).
And this is only the beginning, next glycerin candles and other projects from there, maybe eventually liquid fertilizer.

Follow-Up
Now that the residents have learned how to make glycerin soap, they were eager to put this knowledge to use. The pictures in this section show the residents with the bars of soap they
made. The top picture is of a resident holding a bar of soap containing a picture of herself simulating the making of biodiesel. The middle picture shows a bar of soap
containing a picture of the resident riding her Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The bottom picture is of our longest (22 years) employee with bars of soap, each of which contains a photograph of her great-grand children.
eBay, here they come!
WOW - what a way to improve one's quality of life!
See how this all got started.
